| The location of this hotel is excellent.
Just off Campo San Bartolomo down a narrow walkway. A couple blocks from the
Rialto Bridge. A short Vaporetto ride to St Marks or a leisurely walk. The Hotel
is as advertised. Our room was a 4 floor walkup. But the room & bathroom
were spacious & clean.Staff assisted in every way. I used their internet
service. Breakfast was provided with variety of pastries, breads, Yogurt,
cereals & juices. For the price ,could be best value in Venice. |
| Although this hotel does not have an elevator, the hotel staff are very accomodating in helping with luggage. The room was clean, and the hotel was in a good location |
| Hotel Bartolomeo is near the Rialto Bridge and centrally located for the island of Venice. The staff is friendly and fluent in many languages. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was included in room price and included pastries, breads, yogurt, cereal, coffee and tea. The hotel was close to the "main strip" between San Marco and Piazzale Roma; this helped to start the days wandering in the right direction and simplified finding your way back. |

| Location is wonderful. It doesn't matter very much in Venice, because is a city that invites you to walk and you can cross in less than an hour walking, but this hotel has an envidiable location. I'll recommend this hotel and i'll be back again |
| We had a lovely stay
at hotel Bartolomeo it is easy to get around and centrally located for walking
to the Rialto bridge and San Marco square. The staff are very helpful and
professional. Their English is good and they advised us on everything, helped us
with the water bus system and stored our luggage on the last day so we could sightsee at our
leisure. |
The reception staff were very friendly and helplful. They all spoke english very well and were very kind. We stayed on the fourth floor, which we requested, and were treated to a view of Venice's roof tops and a view of the tour in San Marco plaza! The room, was clean and simple. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower stall was larger than the usual "cubicle" than we received at other hotels. We Loved Venice and we loved this hotel! |
